This Privacy Policy explains how Slow Sunday Goods collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit slowsundaygoods.com, place an order or contact us.

Who we are

Slow Sunday Goods is operated by Xcutive Projects BV, Rudolfusdal 11, 5551 EH Valkenswaard, the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce number 95644466). Xcutive Projects BV is the data controller for your personal information. You can reach us at ssg4home@gmail.com.

What we collect

Contact and order details: your name, email address, phone number (if you provide it), billing and shipping address, and the products you order.
Payment details: payments are processed by our payment providers. We receive confirmation of your payment, but we never see or store your full card number.
Personalization content: text and images you submit for a personalized blanket.
Communication: the messages you send us, for example a customer service question.
Device and usage data: your IP address, browser and device type, and how you use our website, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

To process, produce and deliver your order and handle returns and complaints (performance of our contract with you).
To provide customer service and answer your questions (contract or our legitimate interest).
To keep our store safe and prevent fraud (our legitimate interest).
To comply with legal obligations, such as keeping tax and accounting records (legal obligation).
To send marketing emails, only if you have signed up. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email (consent).
To measure and improve our website and show relevant ads through analytics and marketing cookies, where required only with your consent (consent).

Who we share it with

We only share your information when needed for the purposes above:

Shopify, which hosts our store and checkout;
Printify and its production partners, who make and ship your blanket (they receive your order details, shipping address and any personalization content);
shipping carriers, to deliver your package and provide tracking;
payment providers, to process your payment and prevent fraud;
analytics and advertising partners, only where you have given consent where required;
authorities, if we are legally required to do so.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Under some US state laws, using advertising cookies may count as "selling" or "sharing" personal information. You can opt out of this at any time here. We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a valid opt-out request.

Our relationship with Shopify

Our store is hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your use of the store to provide and improve its services. Shopify may also use information about your interactions with our store, together with other stores, for certain enhanced features. In those cases Shopify is responsible for that processing. International transfers

We are based in the Netherlands, while some of our service providers (including Shopify and Printify) process data in the United States and other countries. When personal information is transferred outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice data: 7 years, as required by Dutch tax law.
Customer service messages: up to 2 years after your last contact.
Personalization content: only as long as needed to produce your order and handle any reprint or complaint.
Marketing data: until you unsubscribe.

Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the store to work, such as remembering your cart. Analytics and marketing cookies are only placed with your consent where the law requires it. You can change your choices at any time via the cookie banner or your browser settings.

Your rights

If you live in the EU, EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time.

If you live in the United States, depending on your state (for example California), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to access, correct or delete it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information or its use for targeted advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at ssg4home@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity first. You may also use an authorized agent, who must show that you have given them permission. We respond within the time required by law (one month under the GDPR, 45 days under most US state laws).

Minors

Our store is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We and our service providers take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transfer or storage is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information to us through unsecured channels.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal information, please contact us first. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or with the data protection authority in your own country.
